When it comes to Google Analytics, for any big website or anything, the information it provides can be very useful and insightful. Google Analytics helps provide information on which pages or specific posts are performing well, how people are ending up on your site, and even keywords or phrases that can help create more traffic to your website. Overall, it is definitely a great tool to have to learn more about your readers and maybe even learn more about what they are interested in. It does help to know what works about your site and what doesn’t. However, for my website, its not very useful. My site has almost no traction at all so I don’t know what’s working and what’s not working. All I know is that no one is going to my site and the majority of the people visiting my site are either from this class or bots from the U.S. So until my site builds a reputation and has good SEO and actual readers, which most likely won’t happen, all I can really do with Google Analytics is see how many people are actually visiting my website.
