Introduction:

Elden Ring is From Software’s most recent “soulslike” game, which unfolds as a grand tapestry with breathtaking visuals, captivating gameplay, an intricate narrative, and a very challenging difficulty.

Gameplay:

The combat in Elden Ring is very similar to the majority of souls game, in which the player must master their abiblites and be very precise with their attacks and doges. Elden Ring is a boss-focused game, with every encounter having very high stakes. With a total of 238 different bosses to face, the amount of gameplay in Elden Ring feels endless, with a great deal of replayability.

The open-world of Elden Ring is one of the most unique parts of it, as previous Souls games followed a linear path to the end, whereas in Elden Ring there is no correct path to reach the end. The open-world design invites players to explore a vast and dynamic landscape filled with secrets and challenges. Whether galloping through sprawling fields on horseback or navigating the intricate dungeons.

Difficulty:

Elden Ring’s difficulty is not merely a feature; it’s a defining characteristic. The game challenges players to rise above their limits, demanding precise timing, strategic thinking, and a willingness to learn from every defeat. The difficulty is not a barrier but a conduit for growth, turning each victory into a hard-earned triumph. Without any prior experience with Souls games, Elden Ring can be one of the most difficult games for anyone.

Story:

The story unfolds gradually, revealing a rich and mysterious lore that beckons players to uncover the secrets of this fantastical realm. Characters, both allies and adversaries, are carefully crafted, each contributing to the overarching narrative, allowing the player to experience three different endings. With the main objective of restoring the elden ring and becoming the new ruler of the kingdom.

Graphics:

Visually, Elden Ring is a masterpiece. The attention to detail in character design, environmental aesthetics, and atmospheric effects is nothing short of awe-inspiring. The game’s graphics don’t just serve as eye candy; they actively contribute to the immersive experience, bringing the mythical world to life. The seamless integration of stunning landscapes, intricate architecture, and meticulously designed characters creates a visual feast that enhances the storytelling.

Conclusion:

Elden Ring is definitely one of the best games I have ever played, and being my first Souls game, it was very difficult for me to progress and figure out what my objective was, but after having played the game and replaying it several times, I can say that it is a game that I can recommend. Just make sure to watch some guides, and make sure your aren’t carrying too many items on you. (I’ve included a clip at end of the blog as to why)
